Has anyone heard of j'renee career facilitation? A lpn that I used to work with suggested I go to this school but it's a private college so tuition is like 24,000. I'm torn between this college and rasmussen, which has a r.n. program but the cost is pretty high, idk any suggestions?
Anyone?

Whatever you do, don't go into debt for your education:
No more nurse shortage? Surplus projected for 2025
I was thinking the same thing. I went to a private school before and received my degree in medical assisting only to find myself not being able to find a job so I had to go back to my job as a c.n.a.

Sorry to say : there is no such thing as a degree in medical assisting.
Yes there is. I have an associates degree in medical assisting and I could kick myself in the the butt knowing that the two years it took me to get it I could've been and R.N. !

Personally, I don't think there is a nursing shortage, I don't believe there ever was a nursing shortage. What I do believe is there is a shortage of nursing willing to put up with the BS and crap with the low pay. Nurses have never been paid what they deserve, many leave the profession... I think garbage collectors make more than nurses in some areas. Why do it...
Would I encouraged anyone to go into nursing? NO... and never go into debt for this profession. It will ruin your health and you will not be able to work..
