Online classes have the same dates as regular classes. Most are 16 wks, starting Aug. 24th or thereabouts. There are also some that are 12, 10, or 8 wks classes. They are not the kind of online classes that you start whenever you want and finish within some amount of months--they adhere to the same calendar as regular face to face classes at Ivy Tech.
The online courses are structured just like face to face- they have specific due dates and everything, but you aren't required to log in a certain amount of time throughout the week. You get a week's worth of assignments and most are usually due by Sunday at midnight.
Every pre req, and I believe even all co reqs are available to take online. I take the majority of mine online. I did ENGL and PSYC 111 and 101 (respectively) both online and had As in both.
It does, however, take a lot of time management. Its very easy to get flustered and confused. I hated mine at first and now I can't imagine taking all my classes face to face (uh oh nursing school!).
The nursing info session will not give her any generic course information, it will only give her the info needed to apply to the program itself.

Can we take any of our pre reqs online or do we have to do them all in class? I have taken a few online classes through Indiana tech (for business management, wast of my time) and english comp 1 is one of them, will that transfer? I hope so
