Ivy tech RN program applications

Published

Hello everyone, I am 2 weeks away from finishing my ENG 111 class. It looks as though I wil have an A if I keep up my hard work. I also have A's in A&P101 and Psch. I am hoping to do well on my teas test so that I have a strong application to submit. I've been using the study guide since I found it online for $12. I guess I'm just nervous, but I was hoping to see if anyone else had some info on how the teas test is scored into you application.

which campus did you talk to? I logged into the app this morning because I remember them saying you could check your status online. mine says its complete so thats a relief. I also already has my points calculated so maybe that will cut down on some of the time :)

The lady I spoke with is at the Lawrence campus. She said if there is any additional info needed, or issues with applications submitted before the deadline, that those people will be contacted via e-mail so that they can correct their submission packet before the deadline.

Is anyone applying to the Fort Wayne program? I applied to spring 2017 and have all A's in my pre-reqs but low score of 66.3 on my teas :( total 126.3. Hoping I get into the ASN

Hi! Is anyone applying for Bloomington's RN program? Since some folks are sharing scores, I will share mine. I scored an 85 on the TEAS and have a total of 135.9 for my application score. Boy I hope this is enough, though seeing scores in the 140's makes me a bit less confident.

Anyway, good luck to all of you! It's just a matter of weeks before we will know.

I would study more and retake the tease when you feel you can obtain a better score. I would not consider a score in the 120's a competitive score for ASN. I am not an expert though

I would not be too worried about your score. Although I understand each semester is different, I know someone who got in ASN fall2016 with a score of 132. I am also nervous about my score even though fellow students and staff have told me not to be nervous. I think it is just part of the application process. I do believe the spring program is more competitive for ASN simple because there are less campuses offering the program which means more applicants per school.

Hey everyone. I just submitted my application to begin in January. My first choice is the Lawrence campus, but I also put Anderson and Kokomo. I'm feeling cautiously optimistic about my score. I'm trying to not get too anxious about it, but it's hard!

I'm in the same boat. I am cautious of my score, but everyone is optimistic about it and I don't want to get my hopes up incase it is not good enough. The wait is killing me.

The deadline to submit is now in the past. Does anyone know how we check on the application? When I go to the online application I am unable to log back into the Spring 17' because it will not give me the option in the drop down menu.

You will get an email from them between the middle or end of the month regarding your application. This will state whether you got into the program or not. There is no way to check the status now to my knowledge.

I believe your score is competitive. There is a facebook group for the Ivy tech nursing program students and hopefuls, and I saw many students get in with scores in the 120's. The facebook group is very helpful. They even post document sheets with applicant scores by campus, and for past semesters show if they were accepted or not. The facebook group is under Indiana Community College nursing if you search it. I can send you a link if you can't find it. Good luck. :geek:

A link would be good to have in the thread. For curious users.
