Hello! I am interesting in starting school for nursing. I was thinking of going through ivy tech but a nurse from work said ivy tech nurses don't get jobs as easy...? So if you are a nurse from ivy tech please comment your experience! If this is true or not. I didn't think it'd make a difference, but just wanted to reach out for some honest opinions before getting started. :)

I recently attended Senior Day at Ivy Tech in Lawrence and 95% of them already had jobs lined up.

Some of the Ivy Tech regions have the best NCLEX pass rates in the state. The only reason that they may have problems is if the hospitals are hiring BSNs over ASNs. IU Health requires BSN within 5 yrs of hire.
True. Right now all four major Indy systems are hiring ADNs as fast as they can..and paying $$ toward that BSN requirement..
