0Hey guys! My name is Kadijah. I'm creating this forum to see if there are anyone applying for the Ivy Tech nursing programs the fall of 2017. I figured we should find a place and communicate with each other and basically become a each others support system.
Right now in my pre-reqs I have two As (English and psychology) and a B (AP1). I'm worried about my grades but I've been told it's all about the TEAS scores. I haven't taken my TEAS yet but I am taking it in January. I'm applying for the Richmond campus.
What scores usually get in the program? I'm actually freaking out about scores! I want to be a nurse (RN) so bad and I'll be crushed if I don't get in.
What about you guys? What scores did you have to get in at Ivy Tech nursing program? What are your pre-req grades? Have you taken the ATI TEAS 6 yet?

I am applying to FW campus for ASN for fall 2017. Only have 125 points, so I am extremely nervous.
What has your advisor said about your score? I'm not sure about the FW campus, but I would think you have about a 50/50 shot. That's just a guess though.
smapes, have you considered taking the TEAS again? Or have you already taken it in the last 2 years? We can take it two times in two years ~ just has to be at least 30 days apart.
I may take it again depending on finances. The test I took had a lot of chemistry, which I havent taken in years. All three of my other areas were in 80s-90s. So I am hoping that if I take it again, I can get one with more APHY questions in the science section.
I am an out-of-state student looking to relocate close to family in Fort Wayne. SO I'll be applying for the Fall ADN program with a 151 (thanks to an amazing TEAS score!). Anyone applying to the northeast program?

Wow, that's a killer score. Maybe the best I've heard here so far?
I'm not going to Fort Wayne, but I got my Business degree there (in 2000!) :) and I loved the campus. Good luck!
I just finished my application. I am looking at a score of 131. Is this a decent score? I'm really worried that I'm not going to get in... What are your scores looking like?
mhunter, I've seen lots of scores in the 130's get in on this site (looking through old threads etc). What's so suspenseful about a score like that is, it really depends on how many spots there are at your location and what sort of scores you personally are competing with.
If I manage to keep all A's in my prerequisites, I'll be applying with 152. BUT that is not the norm -- and I'm not done with finals yet, so we'll see.
