Hello all. I am a RN currently traveling in the great state of Texas. I have been debating whether to do FNP or CRNA for the longest...I have "stair-stepped" my nursing career since the age of 18, (I'm now 27). First becoming a CNA, MAT, LPN, Associate RN, now working on my BSN all to become a CRNA!!! Whew! I dont want to get any more behind than I feel I am (by not getting my BSN straight out of H.S) Sooooo....
My question for you all is can I apply to CRNA school a few months prior to graduating from the BSN program? Has anyone else done this? I have my ICU experience and will have my other prereqisites done. This seems to be the only thing that could possible hold me up for another year. Thanks!

Hi did this too, stairstepped, started as tech, then CNA, denied to test for med aide so just moved on to LPN, ADN, then RN to BSN and finally applied last summer a month after I graduated. I still had a chem class to finish I did it in the Fall and interviewed and got accepted early this month. So yes it is possible I know coz I did it.

Yes, you can, as long as your degree is complete prior to the beginning of the anesthesia program.
