Long story short, I actually walked in graduation (and finished all my nursing courses) in May. I had a few general electives to take before I got my actual degree (and thus had to wait to take NCLEX). I took an EMT course in the meantime to fulfill some of those credits (which somewhat kept
me a bit "in it")
I graduated BSN from a good
school, but I won't be able to test until August.
I've seen that studies show the longer you wait, the lower your chances of passing. So naturally, I'm freaking out thinking I'm doomed to fail.
Am I screwed, or will I be able to refresh myself enough before then?

I actually completed all of my degree requirements in February 2010. By the time my degree was actually conferred, then submitted my documents to the BON and waiting for the ATT, 4 months and 2 days had passed at the time that I had taken my seat at Pearson Vue. I didn't even begin to study until I received my ATT. Once I received that, I scheduled my exam and then I hit the books. Prior to, I really believe I was suffering from information overload since there was really nothing I could do that would force me to truly study or even pick up a book before I received that ATT. I passed with the bare minimum of questions and was processed out of PV and back in my vehicle by 9:05 a.m...exam was at 8.
If you are focused in your studying and preparation, you should fare very well. Good luck!
