Are you interested in continuous education? If so you can take one or two BScN courses through continuing education before you commit to the program. Education is never a waste, it can rejuvinate your interest in nursing and make you see the profession from different points of view. The increase in depth and breadth of knowledge can result in increased job satisfaction.

I am an Rn who pretty much wants to work in privare duty nursing for the rest of my life.
i was an lpn for 4 yrs,and an Rn now for 5. I started in nursing at age 22,so its the only thing i know careerwise. I work with agencies, never as an independent Pdn nurse.
I also know i dont want to be in a supervisory or manager position.
So the question is,for some one like me who wants to work in a non bedside position,is it worth getting a Bsn?
