How long have you been working in the telemetry unit?
A total of 3 years and I take care of post op day 1 cabg pts as well as cath/interventions
Yes, you have the experience to be submitted for a telemetry travel nurse contract. There are always contracts posted all over the country for Telemetry RNs.

I think tele is enough because you also qualify for med/surg assignments as well...however with that being said. I do find tele and ed/surg to be typically the lower paying assignments and also the harder working assignments as well.

I did 4 travel assignments as a med/surg/tele nurse before taking a permanent position in the ED. My first travel assignment was with 3 years of experience.
