I found out that this is a SUNY school. I would like to know if anyone has completed their RN program. How hard is it to get accepted? Is commuting difficult from the city?? Thanks.
Ah, the CPNE kicked my butt the first time and I passed the second. We can get you through.
Honestly, if you are a good test-taker EC is the way to go. You can test out of A&P, etc. And with a couple of kids how on earth are you going to commute 5 hours a day and live?
Yes, that doggone drive would be a killer. Ugggh, WHY IS IT SO HARD TO FREAKIN ADVANCE. I'M STILL WORKING FOR AN AGENCY IN WHICH I DIDN'T WORK AN ENTIRE WEEK! I want to go back to work full-time but there is a freeze on the city. I used to work for HHC until my accident.
Yes Sue, I followed your success and was very happy when you passed the CPNE. I know how it feels to want something soooo bad then things doesn't quite work out the way you had planned. But you're a RN now and I'm sure you're still on cloud ten! LOL
Maybe I'll just do my last pre-reqs traditionally and then try EC again. Would you PM me. Maybe your strategy will work for me. Mine didn't work out well at all.
You mentioned CUNY in one of your posts and I just wanted to point out that CUNY and SUNY are two entirely different systems and the SUNY system is much more efficient then the CUNY system.
