I would say it would depend on what state you live in...I suggest you Google your state board of nursing and search PCT/CNA/PCA requirements or something to that extent. Not sure exactly what the website is offering, so I can't help there.
I've interviewed new grads, and I will say the exposure certainly helps against a candidate that does not. So, it may help you land a nursing job after, but this depends on who is looking at your resume.

Have talked to an advisor at your school? At my school, taking the Fundementals class allows you to get your CNA cert at no additional cost or exams. You email the person in charge of certifying CNAs.
Thanks for your comments. I've put in about 20 apps for a hospital near me (The same one I'm going to clinical at). There application says once you complete one clinical you are eligible to apply for a PCT job there. I'm going to talk with my clinical instructor and see what he says about become a PCT. I'm going to look for other hospital I can apply too when I have a chance. Finals are next week so I may have to wait till they are over so I have some time to fill them out. Thanks again.
