Is it possible to go to school there and transfer to a hospital here?

Published

To elaborate I'm going to receive my nursing degree in the Tampa area. However, I don't want to work in a Tampa hospital per se, I'm really setting my hopes in getting my internship and working in an Orlando hospital. How would that work? Would I have to finish my education, possibly work in a tampa hospital then transfer or what? Please and Thank you

Unless you are talking about a hospital-based diploma program, or entered into a contract with the hospital to fund your education, the hospital has no connection to the school other than providing a place for clinical training. When you finish your education and graduate, you will be "unemployed" just like all new grads - LOL.

After you obtain your license, you will be able to work wherever you please.

Once you pass your NCLEX you can work wherever you want. Since you would be staying in Florida you won't need to do anything additional with your Florida license.

I know it's gonna be real hard for a hospital to accept new grads also unless you have interned or affiliated with the school sigh here we go
