Is the PN exam changing in April?

I thought I read the test was changing in April? Does anyone know if this is correct and if so, what changes are being made?...... If it were you, would you test before the new test comes out or after.....Studing like crazy right now, goal to test last week in March....

Hi Ciprea,

I sent you a PM a day or two ago but I'm not sure if you got it. It's possible I probably didn't send it right. I scheduled an exam date for the third week of April, mainly because I want to have a target date for my studying, though I may change it. I really just want to focus on this and get it OVER with already!! I have been using the Kaplan book for the strategies, which I have found very helpful. Do you think the Learning Extension is very much like the NCLEX-PN? I am tempted to try it. I noticed they have also updated the version they are using as of March 2011, probably to match the new test plan, but I have to wonder if the National Council even releases that information. I have a few former classmates who will be testing before you and me, and I will let you know the feedback I hear about the new test. It probably isn't going to change that much. As for review, the Hurst book is OK but I feel many of the cd questions are too easy, not like Saunders or Kaplan. Oh well, I guess any review is good review as long as it gets us to thinking and analyzing!!
