Is physics required to get into nursing school in the US?

Hello everyone!

I am currently a junior at high school and have been thinking of applying for nursing school. I am doing A-Level BIO, CHEM, MATH & PHYS but i find PHYS really difficult and it is also hard for me to manage my time and maintain good GPA. So I decided to drop PHYS, because instead of having low GPA because of PHYS, dropping PHYS and having better GPA seemed to be a better option. But when i went on some university websites, PHYS is recommended.

So, would it be still possible to get accepted into nursing school, when i didn't do PHYS at high school?

Physics is not required for most schools. You need to investigat the schools you are considering and find out their requirements.

Physics is not required for most schools, however every nursing school has slightly different requirements as to what they are looking for, double-check the requirements for the particular school(s) of interest to you before dropping the class.

EDIT: Just reread your post and realized you are in high school not college. I sincerely doubt high school physics will make a difference to nursing school admissions. Meet with an adviser to make sure dropping the course doesn't do anything wonky to your graduation, but it will likely be just fine to drop.
