Hello :) I looked at the RN-BSN requirements for the following Cal-States: San Diego State, Cal-State Bakersfield, and Cal-State Northridge, but I'm not exactly sure if I need to take organic chemistry or not? Any help is appreciated, thanks sooo much! :redpinkhe

ok, point of clarification. 1 year of Organic Chemistry is not required for the Cal-State RN programs. What is required is a 5 unit combined General/Organic/Biochemistry class that is offered at any community college. Seriously, what does an RN need with 2 semesters of Organic Chemistry? I can understand if you wanted to go to medical school in the future, but for just an RN degree, it's rediculous.
I took Chem 110 at Golden West College and this class is enough according to CSULB for their nursing program.
