Is NYU's nursing program even good?

U.S.A. New York

i've heard that it was overcrowded, and that the tuition there was expensive as heck. what do you all think? does it have a good nursing program, or are people right? i'm really trying to find some good nursing programs in new york, and i thought nyu would be the best, but i'm not so sure anymore?

also, i don't even know why i'm considering going to that school, because i don't think they will accept someone with a 3.2 gpa from a community college in georgia. :crying2:

Hey I'm interested in starting NYU in the spring of next semester, I have an overall Gpa of a 3.3 do you know what's my chances of getting in

You can get that degree anywhere I wouldn't recommend it. Most of the students are just studying from test banks and a drive that was shared, and when you asked a professor, a question is embarrassing because they expect you to know the answer. There's no sympathy and empathy; there only a few professor's care. I guess they are there just to get paid. The welcoming atmosphere faded right after they get your money. They don't teach but yet expect you to learn. The students there aren't friendly either. They will make fun of you if you answer something incorrectly or worse if you have an accent there's no respect they would even argue with the professors so, far I had a bad experience

Wish....I could get more experiences like yours (the truth) about all the programs. This could be helpful to better judge as to where to apply?

Thank you very much for sharing your experience.

Program costs 200k+ if you are taking out student loans, and if you already have a student debt like me is not worth it. My professor from BMCC he works at NYU. He says the teachers at NYU are horrible LOL. They don't get trained to draw blood or injections either on people. They use a plastic arm. Classes you always working in groups to the end, so you are stuck in group projects. You can get at cuny where classes are small, and teachers listen and care for your education. A friend of mine who determines to get her degree went to Lehman and pass the NCLEX first try. CuNY believes or not cuny offers a small NCLEX workshop for its students. Don't even bother classes are huge 600 students. They brag about their program, yet most students are always panicking while taking their exams you can't work while doing their program. My friend says that to study, she has studied at least 1,000 questions per week from Testbanks plus her school material. All their students have a website with testbanks. People believe or not cheat wearing hoodies. The rooms are so crowded they get away with it and are so packed. If you are paying so much money to have people are breathing on top of you, go-ahead. NYU nurses don't get to do Phlebotomy. They don't know how to draw blood. Injections the same thing is done on fake skin. You have to work in group projects from the beginning of the program to the end. Make your money worth and go somewhere else.
