Is Nursing the right career for me?

Published

It's very hard to find an RN job in the Philippines. The salary ranges from zero to very little. I have worked in the ICU. My dream is to migrate to Australia and work as an RN there. Australia is a very beautiful country and I want to live there permanently. A few months from now I will go there to pursue it.

I have these questions in me that I think would help me know what to do with my life.

Should I stop being an RN and just get another job in my country?

Should I migrate?

When should I quit my dream?

What if I was not meant to be an RN?

How do I recognize signs that I should be/ should not be an RN?

My intuition says I should purse my dream to be an RN in Oz. Should I trust my intuition?

My only dream is to be an RN in Oz. But when I achieve that dream, I don't know what to do next. I know that in the end, I'm the only one who can answer these questions on life and career, but I would really appreciate your inputs. Thank you in advance. :nurse:
