I know exactly what you mean when you talk about the seemingly ENDLESS list of things you have to get done AFTER admission into a program.
I STILL feel overwhelmed.
I'm not quite ready for school to start..I just finished my last batch of pre-reqs this summer--and here I am starting fall classes on Monday.
I'm also not looking forward to being in class ALL DAY, everyday!
-sigh-
I started the LPN to RN Bridge yesterday at Tulsa Community College. LanaBanana is also in my class. It is so hard for me to believe that I am on the last leg of my journey to become an RN. I have been going to school since March of 2005 getting pre-reqs and my LPN towards that end. Good luck to everyone who is pursuing a career as a nurse!
Yup hubster is ready for Monday. I just need to iron his whites, gawd he looks yummy in those. Oops I digress LOL
I am impressed with his studying so far. Has not started and he has already read the first 6 chapters of his Fundamentals of nursing, taken the practice NCLEX questions.
He has read the first few chapters of his pharma book, also done the NCLEX practice questions.
I feel he is going to do very well.
This is from one proud wife (not that you can tell eh?) LOL

Just checking to see who all is startng ns in the next week or so. There were so many things to prepare for! I got my school books, a few supplies to get by until I find out what I really need, my uniforms, I don't have shoes yet- I will wait to see what they suggest, physical, immunizations, tb tests, cna license, background check, and I can't remember what else right now. I am ready for this thing to start! Good luck and I hope everyone has a good first day of school!!!
