Is an up to date PDR/PDP necessary to revalidate with the NMC?

My manager has told me that she will not revalidate her team members (including myself) if we do not have an up to date PDR/PDP. She says that it's an NMC  requirement. I don't believe her, is what she's saying true?

Thanks for taking the time to read or respond.

Please expand. What is a PDR/PDP?

Check the NMC requirements yourself or contact them. I would imagine that while she may have the right to insist on whatever due to internal regulations, if it isn't an NMC requirement she has no right to obstruct your revalidation.

Try to resolve this by dialogue, however if it should reach a conflict situation, seek the advice of your union.

It's not a requirement

The NMC requirement

5 reflective accounts with a reflective discussion with a registrant

5 pieces practice related feedback

35 hours CPD of which 20 must be participatory

450 practice hours

Health declaration

Signed off (confirmation) by your manager

Some people use the PDP as practice related feedback but it's not a NMC requirement

You may want to check your organisation policy on revalidation it may be an organisational requirement

Ask her to show you where within the requirements this is.  As far as I'm aware it had never been included so she would struggle to do this.

Thanks to all who answered. I asked the NMC who agreed with the BM's. There is no requirement I have an up to date PDR /PDP to revalidate. The boss has a habit of making things up.
