Is it better to get a C in Nursing Pre-Req, or fail the class and retake?

Thanks everyone for your input! At our school, we are not allowed to withdraw. If we get a D/F , they allow us to retake the class and replace the grade

I would talk to an advisor about this. I have never heard of a school that does not allow you to withdraw from a class.
