Is anyone waiting to hear from Chemeketa?

I am anxiously awaiting my final scores for the application process. The wait is downright painful! Anyone else waiting to hear from them??

Hi everyone!

I got a 48/50 on my essay with a total of 358/365 points. I am hoping this gets me in considering there were just over 200 applicants instead of the 350+ the last couple years has had. I talked to someone at the health and sciences department and thats where I heard 200ish applicants applied this year. HOORAY! Do you guys know when we should hear of our admittance??

Congrats on OHSU btw! I am a "moderately" likely to get in alternate at the Monmouth campus. Not so great but Chemeketa is my top school. I also just had an interview for Clackamas today.

Hi there! Congrats on the great score! Mid-June is the 'official' stance on acceptance letters, but they do get them out earlier some years. I'm hoping with the reduced number of applicants, it will move faster than in the past.

tmedley2- Thats a great score!I have talked to a few other people I know personally that applied to Chemeketa and most of them have gotten 350-355 so you guys are all above that! There aren't many alternates for OHSU so who knows but I bet you get into Chemeketa!

People posted on this site the last two years about acceptance letters. Last year the earliest received was June 8, and the year before was June 4. Last year's letters were emailed, and our correspondence from the assistant dean this year indicates they will do the same and email the acceptance letters. Let the nail biting begin!

So I have 358/360. I just got off the phone with school getting them to correct a grade and I asked the guy how many people applied and he said just over 200 total, that includes incomplete applications. So there is some hope for me yet!

Woohoo! Great job! I had him correct a grade as well; it was a quick and painless process. Just an FYI; we're not allowed to post names on the site. If you can edit your post , I would suggest you remove his name. If not, I'm sure the admins will edit for you. Congrats on a great score!!

I think there is definately hope! Thanks for all the info; its great to hear promising news when we are all just waiting helplessly. It is out of our hands now. We can just hope we have done enough. Best case.. we all get in! :)

just to try to help everybody see what your chances are at chemeketa, i got a 360 on my app but will be declining if i get accepted due to getting into ohsu this year. good luck to everybody

When should we find out of our acceptance into the program???

I am praying to God that I get in. This is my top school!!!
