Why are you scared Futurenurse2B. What an accomplishment to even get the opportunity to get accepted into a NS. Despite my inability to pay for school at this time. I am very grateful for getting accepted and believe that the Creator will provide a way. When you have an optimistic outlook on things along with a positive attitude everything will fall in place and fears in addition to other things will be eliminated. Stay positive and focused, and lets do this for 2011 :clown: !

Hi heavenbound, Nursing will be my 2nd career. I'm leaving a job of 20 yrs. to go to nursing school, that's why I'm so scared. I pinch myself everyday and thank god, cause I still can't believe I got accepted into the program.:yeah:I keep telling myself god will provide a way for me to afford to go as well.

I feel ya. I too am switching careers and am constantly kicking myself for obtaining a degree that I no longer have interest in, in addition to the amount of debt I have accumulated in the process; now the thought of starting all over ugh! But hey I pray everything will work out in the end. I wish you all the best.

My second career as well. I start my accelerated program Jan 4th. I'm actually on my last vacation right now before I get married to my program for 15 months. All the best to everyone!

I'm not doing a whole lot just enjoying my time before I start the program. (Jan. 10th)

I am in my university's nursing program right now. I am super excited to take my first nursing course Spring 2011. Its not a clinical nursing course though its just a seminar, the course is called Seminar on Professional Nursing. Its a seminar to introduce freshmen nursing students to the world of nursing. Its going to be really interesting and I am super excited.

LOL, I hope you enjoy the honeymoon. As for me I am just taking one day at a time, trying to relax in between task. Unfortunately my last day at work will be on the Jan 3rd, the same week school starts.
