i was just curious if there was anyone on here that is from the southern illinois area?? if you don't want to say thats fine. i was just wondering.

I'm a proud Southern Illinoisan from hamilton county. Born, raised, and will probably die in this area.

Funny to read posts from the folks by I-80. I was born and raised in Joliet and Springfield was southern Illinois. In fact, I was 21 before I found out that Illinois didn't end there! LOL!

hey, i live in cave-in-rock that is way southern illinois. my feet touch the ohio river on a daily basis. :yeah:

i believe that i live in the area that is known as "extreme southern illinois". lol. :typing
