IRSC Spring 2016

Hey guys! Didn't find a topic open yet but thought I'd start one early. I plan on re-taking the NLN again before August so I can apply for the program in Jan. I was suppose to take it this past semester but I put it off due to being pregnant and baby due in June. I've applied 2x before with same score & got rejected so I'm going to focus on getting better score on NLN this time. I made a 109 on NLN and have all of my pre-req. & extra classes done (except the actually nursing courses) done except A&P 2 (which I might take in Fall). I'm hoping this will be my lucky year! :) I wish everyone luck!

Hey!! I'm glad you made this post. This is my first time applying for the progam. I will have all my prereqs completed by the end of this summer 1 semester. I am soooo nervous about the test. I plan to start studying after this semester. Is there any helpful tips you can give on the test?

They are having FREE NLN review sessions at Main Campus Room H-106 June 9 through July 28, 2015. Tuesdays, 5:30 p.m – 7:30 p.m.

June 9 Chemistry & Physics

June 23 Math/Geometry

June 30 Verbal Skills

July 7 Test-taking Strategies

July 14 Algebra

July 21 Biology

July 28 General Science/A&P

The June 9th session is already passed but you will still have time to catch up on the others

Hi I am also applying for the program. It's my first time applying. I am dreading the NLN, I have heard that it's very heavily focused on Physics and I never took that class.

Did you apply last year? Did you get in?
