IRSC Fall 2014 Hopefuls!

Hey everyone! I know this is super early to be talking about the fall semester but I just got my denial letter for the Spring 2014 semester so I wanted to make this group for anyone that's applying or didn't make it in like me. I got a 109 score on my NLN exam which makes my total points for program 130. I took A&P I & Micro which accounts for my points. I would like to retake the NLN in 6 months & hopefully I can do much better. I'm currently enrolled in A&P II & plan on just studying my butt off for the nln in the process. Classes I have left before I'm done with all my "pre-requisites" are A&P II (which I'm currently in), Chemistry, and Nutrition. (which I plan on taking those in spring/summer). Maybe we can get a study group together eventually if anyone is interested! Best of luck to everyone! :)

No. With a "B" and I just got my acceptance letter!!!!! YAY!

And don't worry. I just got it now. They are still sending the letters out...I got it as I called the nursing department...

I'm confused guys. I got the alternative letter at 12:00. It's 3:58 and still no more email. Does that mean I'm an alternative ?

Don't be discouraged if you're on the alternate list! My friend got in last semester and told me rumor is, most alternates end up getting in anyways.

jessica321, I would wait until later in the night to assume that. I think they're still sending letters and obviously they are capable of making mistakes lol

Jessica didn't you get a total of over 160? If so you should definitely be in, I would email them. I got accepted with only a 157

I'm confused! I got an email with the alternate letter that everyone else got and an acceptance response form, but I did not get a "congratulations! you're accepted" letter. I called the nursing office and they said " it looks like you got in". But I want to see the actual email that says congratulations you've been accepted. Did this happen to anyone else? I'm afraid to get excited.

Yeah, I got a 168. I really hope I get my real letter tonight! Congrats to everyone though! :D!!!
