IRSC Fall 2017 applicants

Hello, I am interested in apply to the fall 2017 nursing program at IRSC. I figured I would start this so we all can discuss any of each other's questions. This is my second time applying last application period I had a total score of 136. I am feeling confident with the new gpa requirements and all the studying I have done so far that I will be accepted this time. For those of you who have taken the NLN before.. what do you feel helped you the most studying?

I inquired on Monday morning when I took the test. She said they are estimating 300 which is lower than last fall. She also said there were a lot of "no shows". About how many weeks after the test last fall did it take for notifications to be sent out?

Just had a friend who took test today...she scored 155 on NLN Total point 187. I've never seen a score that high. So proud of her!

I got a 151 on yesterdays exam. Total points of 182. I really hope that's good enough. I wonder how long it takes to find out because I've seen on other threads that people have been notified in as soon as 2 weeks. 6 weeks is way too long!

I got 145 this morning with a total score of 177. fingers crossed it's good enough! good luck to everyone

I think you will be just fine :) my girlfriend got in last semester with 152 without micro! so a total of 167 @NR17

I got a score of 127 on the NLN and a total of 147 with micro and anatomy 😔

Ahhh, I'm so nervous. Hoping I can improve my score high enough to get in this time. Those in 165 total score and up will most likely get in.
