Any idea if the iPhone will run some of these all-PC nursing PDA programs. Being the Mac junkie that I am, if I get a PDA it will have to be the iPhone with all the jazz...unless the programs are not compatible.

It's not out for a few weeks so I am not sure all the details.

What programs do I need for my first year in nursing school?

We have a family member who does tech support for the iphone. Basically he says if it's in "airplane mode" you can only access free wireless and not the Edge network which is essentially the iphone's own wireless network that requires you to use the cell phone. I just don't think I would be able to access skyscape without using the Edge network on the floor. Just wondering if anyone has tried.
