Inver Hills/ Century College hopeful

Oh no, April 1st? I, too, received a letter saying that I will hear from them by March 1st. I've been waiting anxiously for the past few weeks. I can't believe I will have to wait til April 1st! I applied to both Century and Inver Hills. I haven't heard anything from Century. I'm really hoping I get into one of the programs *fingers crossed*. Let me know if you hear anything else! Thanks!

Yeah we have to wait till April to hear from Inver. It sounds like Century people got their letters at the END of April (last year). It's a rough wait that is for sure.

Hey Sweet_Li- Have you hear anything yet? Someone in my A&P course said that a person in her Micro class got a letter earlier this week and was accepted... which makes me nervous...

I ended up e-mailing Century College, they said their letters would be out by mid April.

So someone said they got their letter of acceptance this week... I haven't received anything from Inver Hills. Maybe they got the letter that said they were included in the selection process and just misread it. Either way I am going to check my mail box right now! haha!

If I hear anything I will update everyone, please do the same!

**April 1 is 2 weeks from today, our wait is almost over!!**

Just spoke to Inver HIlls. They DID NOT send out letters yet. They don't expect them to go out until; the first week of April.

Oh thank you so much inpatientlywaiting. I didn't even think to call them. I was so nervous but I wasn't completely trustful of the "I heard someone who knows someone story".

Yup, Good luck!! I'm waiting to hear from them, Century (who I know got there's out VERY late last year) and UMN. When this spring semester I was #3 on the alternate list, and didn't get in. This doesn't mean anything thing for this round, but I feel like I've been waiting FOREVER!! Doesn't help that I'm an obsessive planner with 2 kids and a husband starting CRNA school in the fall... I just want to know!!

Holy crap I'm so sorry. #3 and you didn't get in Good luck to you this year I'm sure you'll be fine. I am an obsessive planner with two kids too. We need the money badly so I hope that I can start school next year!

I e-mailed Suzy Merkling and asked her a couple questions. As of yesterday she said she has 200 more applications to look over, then they will be putting people in order and sending out information to let us know of our status, once we are accepted then they call and verify our employment and hours worked. She said don't stress too much because it could be anywhere from April 1-15! (I pray we don't have to wait until the 15!!)

I wish I would have asked her how many people applied, I figure if they still have 200 to do there must have been a lot of applicants!

Thanks for the update. This wait is killing me. I think I may sign up for chemistry this summer just in case (my back up plan is to apply to Rochester). Seems like they have a lot of applications and I'm really getting worried.
