Hi Janice, My name is Kim, also in NJ I will be starting the nursing program at ACCC Atlantic County in Sept. Took me 2 years just for pre req's :uhoh3: (cause everyone seems to be going into the same feild and filling all the classes.) I know many students in my school who also applied to Helene Fuld and Our Ladies of Lourdes and are willing to travel because it is so hard to get into programs.

I am 27 and married with one 3yr old little girl.

Happy Birthday

Hello. This is Lynna from New Jersey. I am a return nursing student and have been trying to make it through a program for quite a few years. Starting my nursing 2 class in a few weeks. Scared I won't make it. I have been married for 2 years and need my RN to afford living in New Jersey. Having a hard time trying to figure out how to read all the material and take notes on it without spending five hours per chapter. Not very good at remembering things. Have to work hard for that B. Any recommendations?

Hi, my name is Jennette I am a 39 year old single mom of a beautiful six year old boy. I start my 2 year RN program in Arizona on the 15th, yeah I am a little nervous. I did clinicals at a hospital for my CNA. Most awesome, surreal, amazing experience, I knew the minute that I walked in that, that is were I wanted to be. On my last day of clinicals I saw a full code, the most organized, amazing, chaos. The teamwork was amazing, I can't wait to be a part of it.

Hello, to all my name is Maronica I go by Ronnie and I am from the Greater Seattle area. I am married, as of Nov 04, and have two children, one almost 18 and one 7. I am starting the nursing program in the Fall of 2005, I am sooo very excited. I have been at this since fall of 1999. I am 33 years old now an d feel like I am getting a late start. I am also a recovering addict who is working a solid program, I am sure hoping this does not keep me from getting my license with out limitations or any thing... But I am happy to be here, have beenlurking around this site for a month or so w/o posting so thanks for having me and for being here.

Hi! I'm just about finished with my required courses and wanted to apply to nursing school this fall. However, I need to do a declaratory order for a DWI I got 21 years ago. Is there a time limited on old charges or do I have to go ahead and proceed with the order? This has really put a kink in everything for me. If anyone has any advice or words of wisdom on how to do the order correctly please help!!! I 've been up all night because I can't sleep...it is driving me crazy:confused:

Thanks -- K. Redman

Hi, my name is Courtney and I just came to my senses this past spring and realized that majoring in Biology isn't for me but Nursing is... after I was accepted into Villanova's nursing program senior year of high school, a teacher (who I still hold very highly) talked me out of nursing and I switched into the Biology program... but I soon found out that I didn't want to be a doctor and I didn't want to do research for the rest of my life... I want to work with people!

so here I am... just starting out in nursing school...:w00t:

btw, my great aunt was a nurse, my mom's a nurse, my cousin's a nurse, and my aunt just finished getting her BSN... so what can I say? it runs in my family...:D
