I did something silly. I planned my vacation around my last course at OU this summer which will be either child development or child and adolescent psych. What I didn't realize was the schedule I was looking at was only for the nursing classes. The non-nursing classes don't end until August. So here are my options:
1)wait until fall and finish (which is okay)
2)take my work with me for 2 weeks while I'm on vacation (which is okay too except)
a) I refuse to do more than four hours of work a week on class while I am on vacation
b) rescheduling vacation is not an option
I know I'm being picky and it's my mistake. I'm okay either way but for those of you who have taken either class, do you find them to be a lot of work (papers, quizzes, discussions) or not too time consuming? Oh, it might also help to know I am a peds nurse. Thanks in advance!
Enuf_already. I got approval to take an independent study psych course which is approved for developmental psych at Colorado state university pueblo. 6 months to finish. Less than $450 for 3 credits. Regionally accredited.[/quote']Thanks. I got approval to take the chemistry course there but am now being told it isn't offered. I guess I'll have to pack my bags and move to the ski resort and take it on campus ;-). There are several options out there but this thing called a full time JOB keeps getting in the way of my free time ;-). I am happy to have a job. I'm just wishing I'd finished school years ago before life got so complicated.

Oh, and I decided to just take the child development at OU this summer. My textbook may come home a little sandy but at least that will be my final hurrah. Thanks for the info.

That way more than I am wiling to pay for one class. My adviser suggested a similar class through New England Univ. When I saw the price tag , I had to pass. I am paying out of pocket and do not spending a little more time as opposed to a small fortune. The edukan Chemistry course is less than half of the quoted price for about the same amount of time
