I happen to know that the nurse recruiter will be returning from vacation on 7/25. Knowing firsthand, I can say that the hiring process is lacking at best. I would definitely try to contact her by phone or email. I've, been having an issue with the process myself and, I already know I've been hired. It's a mess but I hope that ends at the recruitment office. Hope that helps...
Hello, this is my first post here on allnurses (yay), but I've been lurking the forums for a while and found great advice and information. so here's my question...I recently went to an interview for an ER position and I heard back from the nurse recruiter. The ER manager interviewed me (not the recruiter), and when the nurse recruiter called she asked for 2-3 reference letters but didn't say anything about the interview. So now, I don't know what to think. Is that a good sign?
Edit: I just realized my title for this post is not right. Sorry 'bout that.
After being out of school for a while it dawned on me to ask employers for a letter if I turned in my 2 weeks notice. The places I worked could only give start & end dates, salary, and eligibility for rehire....the letters gave them more info. Also- saved time to not have to call those places- and if the job was to start soon, could get a job offer at the end of the interview. :)
