What changes have you contributed to established practices to improve patient care? I don't really know what type of answer they are looking for. It trips me up every time. I have 4 interviews over the next week (including one tomorrow).

I do my best to put pt needs at the forefront of the care I give I provide. I often ask myself "how would I or someone in my family feel about in this situation" and try to treat every pt as such.
As far as established practice I would pause and add something that I've learned ie. when collecting a u/a sample from a female pt. if I believe my first attempt at catheterizing her dosen't work I leave the first catheter in and put a second one in as to make sure I enter the urethra and not the lady parts. or whatever you done thats safe and effective.
