Interview for nursing school

Good morning please I need help. I have been notified of an interview at Samuel Merritt ELMSN. Please I am wandering the types of questions to expect. I don't have clinical experience but my Bachelors and Masters. I have completed all prerequisites and volunteer at a nursing home. I need help on how to tackle the interview... Thank you thank you

Okay, maybe they threw in another interview date in there. Originally, the email said Aug 22, Sept 8, and 13th for FNP interviews.

Oh seriously! That's frightening.Where dyu get your stats from? That probably means there are sleek chances for me to get in... Wao

They haven't sent out the calls for interviews for the CM option yet. I think it'll be about another week or two. I've read that they do the FNP interviews first, the. The CM. But I got an email from the school saying there were 23 CM applicants and I know there's 24 spots so hopefully that's good odds that I will get an interview!

I believe I read in a forum that there are around 92 or so FNP applicants!

I wish there were more prospective Spring applicants on this forum. I enjoyed posts from previous years. Lots of support provided by cohorts :)

Once I applied, I got an confirmation email. Then one of the admissions counselors emailed myself and the other CM applicants telling us the days the interviews will be held on and how many applicants there were. This email is given out before they give out the calls for the interviews

They did this email for the FNP option too, as someone shared with me a different blog. Another FNP applicant stated her email said there were 92 FNP applicants.

I didn't receive any email but the one inviting for my interview. Now it is funny that I didn't receive one stating the '92 FNP applicants'

It seems like some people got the email and others didn't. This seems right because from previous forums in years past, I have read that some people got emails telling them that their application is being sent for faculty review, while other applicants never received that email.

Search: "Samuel Merritt ELMSN Spring 2015" that is where myself and other applicants have shared our info.

Did you also receive an interview for your CM track?

did you apply to the Sacramento or any of the Bay Area campuses?

Congrats! I applied for the CM option. My best suggestion for you is to look at the past forums from the previous FNP semesters. They talk about their interview experiences like what to wear, how long the interview was and what to expect.

The FNP option is a GROUP interview. From what I've read, be personal and passionate about the FNP option. Be outgoing yet friendly! Good luck :)

I applied for Sacramento. Samuel Merritt has not yet called anyone for interviews for the CM track. That happens in about 2 weeks after the FNP interviews are finished.
