I had an interview today. I am pretty sure it was awful, not totally sure, but almost. There were FOUR people interviewing me. I couldn't answer one of the questions because I was too overwhelmed and my brain was spinning so fast. At the end, I asked if I could answer it because something came to me.
I did prepare for this interview. I reheorificed answering tough questions and wrote down questions that I had for them. Towards the end it was better, and they did offer me a tour of the unit. They did not say when or if they would be getting back to me. This is the 3rd hospital I have interviewed at and I am getting so stressed about not having a job!!!!!!!!!!
Does anyone else feel this way?

Sweetie, they are interested in you or they wouldn't have interviewed you.
If they don't call you back, then they probably are not the place you wanna be anyhow.
Smile and be proud to be a nurse.
Thanks!

- During an interview - it is perfectly valid to pause and gather your thoughts (5-10 seconds). If you don't know the answer - you have two (valid) choices.
- First, admit that you do not know the answer.
- Second, as to come back to the question later. Make sure that you come back to the question later.
- Comes in handy - especially during "technical" interviews in the software industry. Definitely, a strategy I plan on using when interviewing for nursing jobs after school.
- Hope you got the job.

You must have done well enough for them to take the time to give you a tour of the facility. Good luck, and let us know how it goes! :kiss

One time I interviewed with 20 people LOL it was a joke. That stuff does not bother me at all and if you are used to it you can rapid fire with the best of them.
I think alot of people do that due to time contraints. When will you know what they think?

It is all about attitude. Go into the interview with your head held high. You are an asset to society. You have earned your right. You have spent countless hours to get where you are. Dont forget who you are. Let yourself be the master of YOUR interview. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain. If youcan change your thought process along these lines, then you become superior to those who live in fear and those who lack sdelf esteem. Be strong and courageous. Life is what YOU make it.
