Hi all,
I am graduating this May, and I have just received word that I will have an interview at Duke University Hospital next week. I was wondering if anyone had any interview tips for me? This is my very first interview (besides a life guarding job) so I need all the help I can get!
Thanks so much to everyone who replies!

You are correct. Do you know your OR unit or specialty? When are you thinking to relocate to Raleigh? Any suggestions on accommodation? Thanks

I have a feeling I'll be going to Urology/Gynecology. Do you have an idea of where you'll be going? I'm hoping to find a place and sign a lease by late July or early August. I'm also hoping to find something in Durham. Raleigh seems a bit further than I want to be from the hospital.
To those that just received a job offer at Duke..congrats! How long does Duke normally take to get back to you during the application process? I just applied and was wondering if Duke was relatively fast or slow. Thanks!
luckybella,
Thanks for the good wishes! They seem to be fairly prompt with their replies. Those of us that received offers were notified the following week.

I am not sure, but I am hoping for general surgery. I have no idea what is the best area to live in, so I would have to do some research and explore the place.

Once we hear back from HR about when we have to return for the health/drug screening, I plan to stay in Durham for a few days and start looking around then.
