Reductio ad absurdum
1 Post
I am writing to inquire into the process to be considered for an Inter-Service Transfer from the U.S. Army to the U.S. Navy. I am an officer in the U.S. Army Nurse Corps. I have served for 6+years in the Army and my current AOC is a 66H/Med-Surg Nurse. I also have prior civilian nursing experience.
Due to the restructuring and downsizing of the Army, I was recently selected for separation and I am now seeking to transfer my experience and career to the U.S. Navy Nurse Corps. My Army separation date will be effective December 1, 2016 at the latest.
I would appreciate any direction or feedback anyone could offer me regarding this matter.

You will need to contact a Navy healthcare recruiter ASAP. Their process is just as long as the Army's. There is an Army the in the 600 series which covers inter service transfers.
