Hi,
I am a 2nd year nursing student in Ontario, Canada. I will be graduating by October 2014 from this program and wish to bridge over to a registered practical nursing program to become a NICU nurse.
I am curious as to what is the best option for a student like myself. I plan on working for a little while after becoming an RPN. However, I am really interested in studying and working in Australia.
Does anyone know if it is easier to complete an RN program here in Canada and then move and work in Australia or just go ahead and do the RN program there followed by working? If so, what are the best schools for the RN program?
Any information would help and would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
H

I am a little confused. Are you in BSN program? Why would you bridge to an RPN program? RPNs don't work in the NICU. BSN is a 4 year program and RPN is 2.
I am in the RPN program in Canada. Would like to bridge over to the BSN program, in either australia or canada so I can in the future work in the NICU.
