westways is known i orange county in california... in fact... my brother, who is also a nurse in fountain valley told me that a lot of filipino nurses are arriving here andthey are recruited by west ways..... the hospital is fountain valley regional medical center... my brother is an ER director there.... well i work at a different facility...

Always take the time to thoroughly check out an agency before you sign. Too late to do anything once you have signed anything.

If you have concerns, they should be investigated before you sign anything. You can do a search on the internet for more on these agencies. And I recommend that you do.

Just because a friend used some agency, or their cousin did, does not mean anything. Please take the time to do your own homework on this. And if you still have questions afterwards, go as far as checking with the US Embassy in Manila.

i would have to agree with the poster above... read and do your homework... but since we are bent on working in the US... we are force to choose an agency that works faster... hehehe... no offense meant...

well one consideration would be the years of contract and the amount of salary you are supposed to get...

i just would like everyone to know that atty. abromowitz (who is handling some of the cases of west ways in the philippines) is not in prison. it's just a nasty rumor that other lawyers must have spread to destroy the reputation of atty abromowitz and his law firm. :nono:

Ive already signed a contract to this agency based in Orange CA. They have good offers... it was introduced by me from a Center Director of a particular review center...

This is not the place to discuss agencies, you need to use a search engine such as Google or Yahoo and then do some reading there.

There has been much written on the agencies that recruit in the Philippines and the issues that have been going on with some of them. You can also get the information from the US Embassy in Manila if you have specific concerns about one of them.

Please be respective of what we are asking here, do not discuss these agencies here to prevent this Bulletin Board from getting involved in lawsuits for something that was posted here.
