BTW, I might be pedantic, but surely it's called football, not soccer ?! The rest of the WORLD calls it football. It's always been called football. It's not called soccer.
Congrats to the aussies BTW, you played great. We played like a bunch of one-legged morons.

Congratulations to all the Australian football fans out there. However, it was a friendly match. Indeed a match which England treated like a practice match. You do have a few talented players. One day you might have a team which might be competitive in real matches. If you keep sending players over here we'll continue to make them into better players as we have done with Viduka, Kewell Popov and the rest.
Once again congratulations, the better team won on the night, and that's how it supossed to be.
of course it is called football, or as in my case voetbal or Fussball

There's a ball. You kick it with your foot. Foot Ball. That's why there are different names for the different footballs eg Rugby League (yaaaay), Rugby Union, SOCCER etc.
Oh yeah, and Tigana? If you're such a great side, then why do you feel the need to keep poaching our players?
The WORLD calls it football. eg: the Football Association (the FA), FIFA. The only people who call it soccer are the yanks (there are prob one or two other places that call it soccer), but virtually EVERYONE on the planet calls it FOOTBALL. Nah, nah!

Then why are they called the Socceroos?
NSL = National Soccer League (Australia)
What does it matter what the game is called? You still lost!
