Tell me your thoughts regarding nurses attaining their dream job overseas using fiance visa (regardless of money, love, etc) as their stepping stone. I'm getting attacked in 3,2,1! LMAO! :nurse:

If they are using the fiancée visa for the right reasons and not as a stepping stone just to get to a country quicker then I have no problems people using the visa appropriately. Abusing it makes it harder for the real ones that genuinely should be using it

It's just a question and you're going to get a lot of answers you may or may not like. I personally think when people abuse the system like that make it harder for people who are doing it for the right reasons. That's the reason why so many people who have abused the tourist visa have made it harder for those who really want to use it for the right reasons and have every intention of returning home. But guess what they're denied. When people abuse the K1 visa the government may do the samething and either 1. take it away or 2. Make it even harder to obtain one.

This may or may not be your intention but make sure that you think long and hard and don't just think about yourself. Think about the person on the other side who is sponsoring the K1 visa. They may love you very much or they may want you as a personal slave and I've seen that one happen. Think about the ones who are using the visa for the right reasons and you may have ruined it for them because of your selfish reasons for abusing that visa. Your actions have an impact on future people.

Don't abuse the system as a stepping stone because in the end you may be the one stepped all over. Good Luck

so that's how it is. tourist visa is out, fiance visa is in! that's fantastic! LMAO!

This thread just irks me soo bad. The OP just seem to be very DESPERATE. Bugs me alot when people abuse the system just so they can get out of their country. Very selfish, I agree. There's alot of people out there that are genuine with their intentions to move to a new country and not use it as a "stepping stone" for ones' career and for personal gain.

For future reference, keep issues like this to yourself if you don't want to be labelled and attacked. A silly thread and question in the first place. Just rubs me the wrong way!

While everyone is entitled to their own opinion, there are ones who like to post just to get other people wound up. It seems that IMHO the best thing to do for these people is to just ignore them as it is not worth anyone's energy to amuse them. Laughing when other people are obviously bothered is a clear indication of someone being malicious. Don't waste your time with the nonsense and just continue to act in the professional manner that a nurse should. It came to mind that anyone can join this forum and they certainly don't even need to be nurses. Just keep that in mind when someone comes up with this type of discussion.

you're not doing what you are preaching. hehe

i see that not many can keep their composure when replying to this thread. how moral! haha! :jester:

me and my australian boyfriend are so in love that he is willing to sponsor me a fiance visa. it just so happened that i'm a filipino nurse. all the malicious thoughts like abuse, selfishness did not come from me, but from the people who made shallow comments for they only thought of the first thing that came to their green minds, hehehehe. :nurse:

i've seen filipinos do this and the results are just fantastic! lmao! :clown:
