hi everyone.. im from baguio btw.. i have inquired at the red cross chapter here about their trainings and seminars.. after i was informed about their schedule of trainings, the man who assisted me said if i would take the training and finish it, i could volunteer there for 3 months.. i'll get certificates and the like plus i don't have to pay a cent for the experience... so what do you guys think??.. should i go for it??..

if someone knows about the topic i would greatly appreciate your advices... thanks in advance...:redbeathe:redbeathe:redbeathe

it can contribute..

When you work at PNRC as a phlebotomist, you are given a certificate if you made 300 successful blood withdrawal.... It can surely help if you work in hospitals here in the philippines..

Ii can also help when applying for work abroad... PNRC is recognize around the world and having a certificate of 300 successful blood withdrawals from them will surely be a plus during job interviews..

Specializes in SICU, Burn Unit, PACU, CCU.

It will definitely help with your skill, experience and knowledge.. this will be considered under your trainings and seminars, but not as a work experience.. work experience for nurses only include paid nursing jobs in whatever field of nursing.. occupational, institutional (or hospital), school, community etc...

But this is a good move for you if you're still waiting for a hospital job (if you intend to work in a hospital).. the experience that you'll get will be indespensible for your career.. this is definitely a good career move.. I also volunteered for PNRC..

thank you zeromike22 and gambutrol...:yeah: i really appreciate your advices...:redbeathe:redbeathe:redbeathe

hope to hear more from you again... thanks so0o0o0o0o much!!!!!;););):up::up:
