Hi! Im a newbie in this site and found your messages very informative.
Am interested to do bridging program but do they require nursing experience for you to qualify in the AHPRA Assessment? Also, i have graduated years ago but very much interested to pursue nursing again. Will this be an issue in assessing my qualification
Appreciate much if you can provide your insight.
Thank you
Hello everyone!
I am a newbie here and would like to help those who are yet to apply with AHPRA, or those still awaiting for their endorsement letter, and even those who are still deciding on which course provider to attend BP to.
My husband succesfully completed his IRON program with the Australian Centre of Further Education (ACFE), and has submitted his application for Registration as Nurse Div1 a few weeks ago. Hopefully, he'll receive his license soon so he may be able to find work immediately.
Likewise, I am going to ACFE as well for my bridging. I am scheduled to leave on the fourth of January for my Jan10,2011 intake. Im pretty nercous yet excited at the same time. I really pray that everythign would work well for me just like how it was with my husband.
Anyone here who will be attending the Jan10 intake in ACFE? I would like to hear from u.... Happy Holidays!!!! :)
Hi,I got the offer letter from ACFE for the BP for the Jan 2011 intake. Does anybody here know about how good it is? Do they provide good assistance? I have got the offer letter from VCHN also. Should I go for VCHN or ACFE, which one is better? Please help.
Hi there Shalzz!
First off, HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!!!
I am to attend the IRON program with ACFE on Jan10 as well! It would be great if we could go together.. the more pinoys the better hehe!
My husband went to ACFE for his bridging... he's part of the first batch for the IRON program. He has succesfully completed the course and is now currently waiting for his license to fully maximize his applciation as Nurse Div1 there.
I have a friend who's going with me in ACFE too... U can add me in FB so we can chat and exchange a lot more of info abt this... Im a newbie here and I have yet to familiarize myself with the nitty-gritty roundabts in this thread.
which hospital/ school are you going to study? Is the 456 is the business short stay visa? Is it true that if u were in the 456 u coudn't apply for another visa while you were in Australia?I have a letter from AHPRA and waiting for school/hosp. COE... I am just curious about the conditions of 456 visa..
Many thanks...
Hi there Abhylicious!
Yes you're right, Visa subclass 456 is Business shortstay.
Which visa in particular are u thinking of converting/applying to while in Australia?
One thing's Im sure though is abt Visa 457 or Working visa..... After registration with AHPRA and as soon as you have found an employer who is willing to sponsor u, ypu current visa (456) will be converted into visa 457. That way, there is no need for u to come back home in the Phils or anywhere else to exit Aus just to have your visa refreshed for another 3 mos.
