Hi.
Does anyone know if there is a RN refresher course in Canada or US for International educated nurse. I graduated way back in 2008 in the Philippines and have no experience as a RN. I am currently in Canada and I'm deciding to continue my career as a RN. I'm just wondering if there is anyway I can do a refresher course in Canada or US without having to do the entire BSN program again. Does anyone have an idea about this?

I would check with the college of RN in the province you plan on working in they should have info on refresher courses as you will be expected to do one as training is over 5 years ago

If you have never been a RN, you are not returning to nursing and will not meet the admission criteria for a refresher program. As an IEN, you need to start by having your education evaluated by NNAS, then the College of Nurses will advise you about upgrading.
