Interest to work in new Jersey from India in approved I140 with H4 visa

I m working in India right now, as a nursing staff near about 4 year . Now I want to move in New Jersey , in H4 visa, approved I140 and applying for EAD. So I have to clear Nclex rn exam, so for that what kind of documents I need to carry from Indian nursing council , to apply my ATT?

Just so people know certain H4 applications can work as long as certain conditions are met.

for you to work as a RN you need to apply to the state board of nursing (BON) and met requirements as International trained. Average processing times 4 months

Are you specialized in your nursing experience? NJ needs experienced specialty nurses as there are an abundance of new grads, general nurses and inexperienced nurses.

Passing the NCLEX is one of the last steps.

You need a SSN to apply to NJ, which you can obtain once you arrive presuming you have the H4 visa that offers work privileges. NJ requires proof of English language competency (TOEFL or IELTS) and credentials evaluation (CES) report from CGFNS before your application is considered. You can start the CGFNS assessment while overseas. NJ won't consider your application until you have completed CGFNS report, lawful status to be present in the US (valid work visa) and a valid US SSN. You are not eligible to obtain a US SSN until you arrive and if your H4 visa status permits you to work (not all do).

Thanks for your answers , it helped me a lot . Still I want to know that I just applied for CGFNS transcript , when is the actual time for submitting BON form ? I just confused that BON will ask me to submit my form after they get my transcript or I should send it right now.

After CGFNS indicates that they completed the report then apply to the BoN

Thanks . Another thing to know , CGFNS will send my transcript to board or to me ? If the answer is board than how they accommodate my transcript and my form to BON ? Because transcript will send by CGFNS & form will send by me .

CGFNS will send their report direct to the BON and they will match your application with the report like they do with everyone else
