My chemistry class was integrated as well. I didn't think it was too difficult. The math is minimal and your textbook should have practice problems. I tried to do all of them in my study time so that I felt confident when the test came. The biggest thing for me was keeping up with the weekly homework. Like any other class, if you continually work through the concepts until you can explain them to someone else, you will be a step ahead when test week arrives.
I'm taking General Organic Biochemistry. Chemistry and Physics are my most hated subjects. Today was my first class. It was overwhelming. My professor got his Ph.D six months ago and I'm fairly certain this is his first semester teaching. I'm relying on the book to teach me more than him. Just do the work from the book and go over it until you understand it.

Hi everyone!
My integrated chem class started last Tuesday and I wanted to know if anyone here has taken an integrated chem class (organic, inorganic and biochem). If so, does anyone have any advice on how to study for this class? I didn't take any chemistry in high school.
I know there is some math involved. I took an upper division stats class for my BA in psych which I'm finishing up (applying to ABSN programs in Fall). I got an A in the upper division stats class and also got As in anatomy and physiology last semester. Hopefully I make it through this chem class with an A!
