Does anyone have any suggestions/hints/recommendations on issues regarding nurses' insurance? I need to get some now that I'm working as an LPN. I've been told emphatically by instructors that every nurse should carry their own insurance and not rely on the facility insurance.

Yes, it is a good idea to have your own . I have always had it.....just in case the hospital won't back you.
