insurance

Does anyone have any suggestions/hints/recommendations on issues regarding nurses' insurance? I need to get some now that I'm working as an LPN. I've been told emphatically by instructors that every nurse should carry their own insurance and not rely on the facility insurance.

Thank you so much on this cold, wet Saturday night in the Midwest.:p

Yes, it is a good idea to have your own liability insurance. I have always had it.....just in case the hospital won't back you.

Always have had it, always will.

Do a search her on malpractice insurance. That $89 year is worth peace of mind. You don't really think your job will back you up do you?
