This might be a little goofy but I am military and I don't pay for health insurance and I am very curious of how much it cost. Can you guys clue me in to the insurance cost please from various areas.
Thanks so much;)
Is it possible to remain privately insured and to get paid more from the employer without benefits? Would the employer have to give you more wages if you decide not to take their health insurance, or is this negotiable? This would be very interesting to know.
I think it's fairly common practice to offer higher pay if you go without benefits. Exactly HOW common I couldn't tell you. I'm just a student. From previous inquiries on this board, I've seen that the pay differences can vary quite a bit, somewhere between increases of 10 - 25%.
