long term care insurance carriers need RN assessments for long term care claims. The RN completes the assessments in the claimants home. There is no direct care just info gathering and documenting adl demonstrations.

Independent contractor. LTCG. Carescout. Assuricare. CHCS are the ones I am with . there is also long term solutions.

I just filled out an application for LHC Group to do long term assessments. How do you like the job?

I work for Long Term Solutions. Normally I love it. They recently, due to the CV19, started doing virtual appointments. I have not done one yet but it already feels tedious as I am attempting to find someone to help a claimant use a smart phone with the Google Duo app. Today I got an email telling us they are cutting the contracted rate from $85 to $50 per assessment. I backed out until the rate comes back up.

I just recently applied to Assuricare as an RN Assessor and wanted to get an idea/insight on how it works. Do they send you contracts to pick up/when do you get paid/any advice on assessments/etc. I am scheduled for an interview next week. Thank you.
