Has anyone heard of Institute of Medical Education? I am thinking of signing up for their CNA program. Please let me know!
Is accredation important for a CNA program?
Thanks a million. :nuke:

hi,
to be honest with you, i would not recommend this school to anyone at all. this school is a m-e-s-s! they are very expensive and they verbally abuse you. instructors are not well educated and often times would tell you "it's in the book" or "read the book" when you ask them questions. i was a 'victim' of this school. i was in the lvn program. i had a really "high-ego" clinical instructor who enjoyed making us feel embarrassed in front of the whole nursing department. she would ask us rn questions and of course we woudn't know, and if we don't answer, she would tell us in her high tone of voice "...you guys should know this by now, you guys are nursing student.. etc". trust me, the administrators will not do anything to help you. the clinical coordinator will refuse to give you help and would even deny everything.
they also have a high turn around rate with their staff. while i was there, 70% of their staff left due to salary issues; financial advisors, instructors, counselor, secretaries, and even directors!
