Where would I direct someone who had a family member finally agreeing he needs inpatient rehab for meth addiction? He is 35 with no insurance. Thanks you for any advice or direction.

Try this:
SAMHSA Behavioral Health Treatment Services Locator
Thank you.
Good luck. Supposedly it can offer suggestions for sliding scale programs also
It's hard when they have no insurance but their addiction keeps them from working. Another FAIL of our healthcare system.

It used to be that community and family would help foot the bills.
I would say it's a SOCIETY fail.
That's not necessarily indicative of a healthcare system fail as minimum essential coverage is mandated for all adults in the US.

I don't mean to sound harsh but I know someone who took the money they were spending on drugs and paraphernalia and made payments for inpatient then outpatient rehab.
Addiction is a disease but there are still choices involved.
